Whether you are a complete beginner, or an advanced dancer we can offer you the opportunity to expand your experience, either within a class environment or in a private lesson. Private lessons are perfect for a special wedding/first dance. Also shift - workers who struggle to commit to a weekly class may prefer 1:1 sessions. Competitors are also very welcome to book intensive training.

We are very pleased to say that we have a fabulous social scene with people of all ages getting together for practice nights, social dances, balls and dance trips away.

Our class timetable covers dances such as ‘Strictly style’ Ballroom and Latin American, which is what we specialise in. However other classes and workshops on Salsa, Argentine Tango and Rock’n’roll are due to be set up very soon. Watch this space!

We have specialist Teachers who run their own classes. The styles we cover are Ballet, Tap, Contemporary, Street & Hip Hop, Cheerdance, Ballroom & Latin. Classes are for youngsters aged 3 years upwards. All of our classes are run by lively, enthusiastic Teachers who are fully qualifed, experienced and reliable!  
TOPAZ has been beautifully fitted out to resemble a traditional Ballroom. The dance floor is massive (3200sq ft) which lends itself well for all of our future functions.

Our continued aim is to deliver top quality tuition in a warm and friendly atmosphere where the emphasis is on fun, friendship and fitness. We believe that learning to dance is a real asset! It can improve your memory, co-ordination and for those who suffer with shyness, can help to build confidence and a greater sense of ‘well-being’.

About us

We consider ourselves exceptionally lucky as we have managed to turn our hobby into a career. We love what we do!

Both of us have danced since child-hood. Paul’s parents ran their own school in Liverpool and mine enjoyed the social side, along with senior level competitions.

Our dance partnership formed over 25 years ago and we opted to compete in 10 dance Competitions, travelling all over the UK earning many Championship titles.

We appeared on the original ‘Come Dancing’ show in 1993, danced on the mid-week Lottery Show and whizzed around the dance floor along with our pupils, on the Forsyte Saga. Cruising with P & O was an absolute treat, which took us all around the world whilst teaching and demonstrating at sea.
